WHO ARE THE PLAYERS?

The MVPs “The Most Valuable Players,” from Southern California, are one of the top musical acts performing today. A collection of world class talents, they have been wowing crowds around the country with their spectacular performances for years…appearing with such greats as Santana, Ray Charles, Gypsy Kings, Chaka Khan, DEVO, Blondie, Sheila E, Earth Wind & Fire, Kenny G, Tom Jones, Ritchie Sambora and the Go-Go’s, as well as more contemporary artists including pop superstars Fergie, Kelly Clarkson, Pussycat Dolls & Sarah Brightman. The MVPs performed at six MGM NYE shows in a row, backing up artists like The Four Tops, Pointer Sisters, The Temptations and opened the show for Katy Perry at Caesars Palace Las Vegas. The band mixes Rock, R&B, Latin, Swing, and current Pop and Hip Hop grooves to create a high energy dance sound all their own. Their enthusiasm is overwhelmingly infectious, and they’re guaranteed to make every event a major success.

Each performance is custom tailored to the needs of the client by musical director and well-known composer Justin Reinhardt, whose work includes the score for the hit film “Swingers” and music for HBO’s ever popular “Sex and the City.” The band’s fresh approach brings a contemporary style and energy to all their material, drawing from a highly danceable repertoire of classic and current hits, from Sinatra and Etta James to Bruno Mars and Beyonce. Their sophisticated and high impact choreography provides the exciting visual entertainment you would normally find only on a major concert stage. Musician, studio engineer, businessman, and founder of the MVP’s, Ric Grea has over 25 years of experience in entertainment and event production. Whether on the stage, in the studio, or in corporate executive offices Ric’s passion and expertise has not only helped elevate the MVP’s to the highest level of success, he created the MVP launching pad for many great artists. Performing across the country, from Miami to Hawaii, Park City, and Las Vegas, he has shaped the band’s outstanding national reputation, booking the most exclusive, and high-end venues, and meeting the needs of exacting clients for events of every scale. Justin Reinhardt

Well known for his work in film, television and record industry, Justin Reinhardt studied at the Berklee College of Music before returning to his native Los Angeles to build an impressive resume embodying the full creative spectrum of the music business. A much sought after keyboardist and arranger, he began working with mega-producer Dr. Dre and other West Coast hip-hop artists, performing on numerous platinum albums with the likes of Snoop Dogg, NWA, Eminem, The Pharcyde, Warren G and LL Cool J, among countless others. His work as musical director for live concert performances has taken him all over the world with major acts, including MC Hammer’s spectacular 1990 “Don’t Hurt ‘Em Tour”. Breanna Lee is a singer-songwriter born and raised in Minnesota. Pursuing her passion for music right out of high school, she quickly made waves in the industry, collaborating with top producers and flying out to record in Los Angeles. Over the years, Breanna has opened for renowned artists and performed at multiple music award shows and events, showcasing her soulful voice and heartfelt lyrics. Grateful to live her dream, she now resides in LA, where she continues to captivate audiences with her performances at local venues.

Jeff Vezain

Vocals/Choreography

A singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist/danver originally from Chicago, Jeff has worked as a vocalist over the last eleven years with numerous bands, performing for audiences nationwide. Writing and recording original material, he has showcased with live performances ranging form solo-acoustic gigs at the venerable Uncommon Ground Coffeehouse & Cafe, to full-band performances at the legendary House Of Blues. Jeff has also lent his voice to radio and television ads, his image to print ads, and danced with an entertainment company, performing extensively at events throughout the Chicago area. A solid drummer as well as guitarist, Jeff was an audition finalist for the lead role in the hit theatrical show “Blue Man Group”, and workshopped fro two days in NYC with members of the New York production. Tony Bolivar has become a well known name in the music scene, and is a featured saxophonist with the MVP’s. Tony is a gifted multi-instrumentalist, proficient on saxophones, flutes, clarinets, trumpet, bass guitar, and vocals. He studied music at San Jose State University, and is a Veteran of the United States Air Force Band.

David Richards

Trumpet

David Richards received both his BM in jazz arranging and his MM in jazz composition from the University of North Texas. During his time at North Texas Dave played both trumpet and trombone in the GRAMMY-nominated One o’clock Lab Band. Since graduating from UNT in 2009, Dave has gone on to travel the world with various big bands and touring musical theater productions of broadway shows. He currently resides in Los Angeles where he works as a freelance brass player, composer, arranger, and band leader. He has had the pleasure of playing or recording with such artists as California Transit Authority, Katy Perry, Gwen Stefani, Frank Stallone, Spencer Day, The Glenn Miller Orchestra, The Mike Barone Big Band, and The Tom Kubis Big Band. John Massey

Originally from Louisville KY, John Massey is a 30 year old music industry veteran. Having moved to Nashville at the age of 21, began his career recording and touring with some of Nashville’s best producers and artists including Tommy Sims, Kenny Greenberg, Dann Huff, Steven Curtis Chapman and many others. Relocating to Los Angeles in 2004, John has continued recording and performing worldwide with some of the best in the business including Ken Caillat, Mark McGrath, Terri Nunn, Mike Reno, The Voice, the NBA and many others.

Dan Boissy

Dan Boissy is a native of Orlando, FL. He has been playing the saxophone for over 25 years, but his musical exposure began as a baby. Dan’s parents Sue and Ken Boissy were founding members of The Central Florida Jazz Society. This fortunate upbringing enabled Dan to have access to live music on a regular basis starting from a very early age. By the age of 12 he had decided that music would be his life. Dan received numerous awards throughout his middle and high school years. He was a member of the Florida Allstate Concert Band 3 times and the Jazz Band twice.
